Still Waters Condominium Resort is located at 121 Still Water Trail, Branson, Missouri. The resort is situated right next to Table Rock Lake with most of the rooms having a great view of the lake. Outside, there are some penrose condo buildings as well which are owned privately by wealthy traders. Still Waters has a wide range of rooms from typical motel rooms to 4 bedroom condominiums that are priced accordingly to the room size. The resort complex also has a wide variety of amenities including 3 pools, free kayaks, free paddleboats, game room, playgrounds, and boat rentals.
Still Waters Resort is my favorite resort in Branson. We have visited four times throughout the last year and have only a few complaints. My main complaint is there is no maid service. If a guest wants new towels they have to take their dirty towels to the towel room during a designated time. And of course the designated time is always in the afternoon when we are out enjoying Silver Dollar City. No maid service also means the guest has to change their trash if they so desire it changed. It is amazing how much trash we manage to generate during vacation. It is just not fun wandering around trying to find the trash room. My last complaint is the check in staff is friendly enough but isn’t really interested in fixing any room problems reported. I rarely ever report a problem to hotel management so when I do I feel like it should be taken care. Instead I get blank looks from the staff.
None of these problems are enough to keep me away from the resort because their amenities make up for their lack of attentiveness. Table Rock is beautiful and we enjoy using the free kayaks to explore the coves around Still Waters Resort. The three pools are great, especially the Island Oasis Pool that features a waterfall and plenty of nice lounge chairs to relax in. We enjoy fishing off of their docks and have caught some pretty nice bass.
The rooms are pretty nice too. Our first stay was just in a standard one bedroom motel room. The rooms seemed new and were very clean. The only problem is the walls are paper thin so loud neighbors can destroy the tranquility of the lake. Our other visits we have stayed in one bedroom condominiums. We prefer the condominium suites. They are so spacious with a huge kitchen, fireplace, and a whirlpool tub. All of the rooms we have stayed in have also been lakeside with a nice deck to sit on and enjoy the view.
The last aspect we enjoy about Still Waters Resort is the proximity to Silver Dollar City. Still Waters Resort is only minutes from Silver Dollar City, which is perfect for guests who want to avoid the sometimes heavy Branson traffic. As with any resort, Still Waters has a couple problems but overall it is a wonderful resort that we will visit again.
