One of the simplest ways to tame your locks is to look at what type of brush you are using. Many people do not pay enough attention to the type of brush they use to brush your hair, when in fact using the wrong type can do it damage and worsen fizz. For instance, a brush that is too hard will break hair which worsens frizz. It is therefore a good idea to check with you hairdresser which type of brush is best for you.

Home remedies to get rid of frizzy hair are easy and you will often find that you have many of the ingredients you need at home already. For instance, items such as eggs are perfect as they make a fantastic and nourishing hair mask. Simply take a raw egg, crack it open and massage it into your scalp and hair. After 15 minutes you can rinse it off with cool water and then wash your hair with your usual shampoo and conditioner.

Vinegar solutions are also great home remedies to get rid of frizzy hair, and are very simple to do. Simply take 4 oz of apple cider vinegar and mix with 1 qt of water, then rinse your hair with the solution and proceed to condition as usual. The mixture is not only a great natural alternative that will help combat frizz but it is also known as a great clarifying shampoo.

If you prefer a sweeter home remedy to get rid of frizzy hair, then using honey is perfect. As honey is very sticky you first need to mix it with oil such as olive or coconut, once you have combined the two simply apply to your hair and leave for around 10 minutes. You should then rinse the honey mixture with cool water. This is a great alternative to standard hair conditioners.

After simply rinse the oil from your your hair and shampoo and condition as you usually would.
